Picture this: Over two years ago, in sub-zero temperatures, we went for a sauna and cold plunge. The experience left us feeling revitalised and rejuvenated for days.

We were hooked. This practice became routine, exploring different sauna experiences throughout the year. With increased use, we experienced noticeable benefits:

Drawing upon our membership in The Guild of Master Craftsmen and The British Sauna Society, along with 18 years of expertise of hand crafting beautiful high quality outdoor structures, we embarked on a year-long research journey.

Everything is calculated to give you the ultimate sauna experience from: size, heat ratios, surface area of glass, insulation, appropriate timber species, ergonomically designed seats and back rests and seating layout, heating options, a one way ventilation systems and drainage, all whilst using the best fit for purpose materials.

Whether nestled in your garden, on your land or commercial premises,  a Yorkshire Hut Company sauna brings tranquility and rejuvenation to your doorstep.

Each custom sauna can be designed to your specification, size, and preferences, with a variety of finishes and combinations available. • Featuring a glass sauna door and long narrow window, with an additional window
available for customised design
• Can be externally clad in either FSC Western Red Cedar, Thermo timber stained in environmentally friendly durable UV oil, colour coated steel or a combination of steel and timber
• Internally finished in FSC Western Red Cedar or Thermo timber
• Fitted with an electric sauna, wood burning, Harvia or Huum sauna heater with sauna stoves
• Insulated throughout with British sheep’s wool insulation
• Fitted with sauna vapour barrier throughout sauna
• Ventilation system for sufficient airflow with floor drainage system
• Mono pitched roof finished in colour-coated steel
• Ergonomically designed Western Red Cedar or Thermo timber benches
• A porched area with Western Red Cedar seating and storage
• Soft, warm white LED down lights throughout sauna and within porch
• Includes concealed steel base for ease of movability with self levelling pads

Designed for 4+ people, the Ronja custom made sauna includes everything that the Pipi offers but with a pitched roof and a more expansive and social experience with bench designs including optional upper and lower seating and a porch area featuring built in seating and storage.

Offering both relaxation and practical storage, ideal for social gatherings or family use.

Astrid:  Custom made Outdoor sauna available as wood burning or electric that seats up to 12 people with lobby, changing rooms. With all the benefits of the Pipi and the Ronja it also boasts:

• A beautiful asymmetric roof

enhance your surroundings

• Includes lobby and changing rooms with
hanging pegs and storage

Our outdoor saunas just like our shepherd's huts can be tailored to your preferences, ensuring a perfect fit for your space and needs. Whether it's a cosy retreat or a gathering place for friends and family or a commercial outdoor sauna, we're here to bring your sauna vision to life.

We also make mobile saunas on trailers and saunas within our shepherd’s huts and high quality 400 litre cold plunge in stainless steel with slopped ends, clad in Western Red Cedar, with convenient drainage, built in chiller and filter, costing 15pence a day to run, for the ultimate contrast therapy along side your sauna or as a stand alone experience. As with our shepherd’s huts these can all be custom made to any design and size as required, therefore please ask if there is something different you would like, we’d be delighted to help.
